Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Rumors: Release Date, Specs and More

The Galaxy Note 8 has proven that Samsung can recover from the debacle of the Galaxy Note 7. For the Galaxy Note 9, expect a more powerful widescreen camera with improved cameras and a new Bixby Assistant.

Note 9 must also be announced before the previous phones in the area. Here is everything we know so far.

Last update (June 25)

The stylus could get a new feature with the Galaxy Note 9, which greatly increases its performance. The phone accessory can receive Bluetooth connectivity, which opens up a number of possible functions for the next note.
Apparently, a filtered image of the Touch 9 screen shows a screen very similar to the Note 8 look, but with finer bevels.

Note 9 Release date: 9th of August

The Galaxy Note 8 was launched in September last year after a launch event in late August. The investor's report indicated that Samsung would see an earlier release date, and now we have additional details courtesy of Bloomberg, who says that August 9 is the date the new phone will be released. Note 9 would then arrive on the shelves before the end of August.

The move could also help Samsung avoid possible direct competition with the next wave of Apple iPhones, which could be launched in September.

While other reports indicate that Samsung announced the phone in August, not everyone is convinced. A report from Korea discovered by Sammobile suggests that in Note 9, Samsung could use a thinner OLED display to track the rival products of Chinese phone manufacturers Oppo and Vivo. Such a step would increase the start date. Logically, the logic would dictate that it's a bit late in the game to make such a big change, so the date Aug. 9 reported by Bloomberg seems as solid as any rumor we've heard so far.

Possible specifications of Galaxy Note 9

According to rumors, there should not be too many surprises in the Galaxy Note 9 campaign.

Samsung is expected to launch the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor into the phone, according to benchmark tests recently filtered in HTML5Test. This chip has some impressive numbers in our benchmark tests of the Galaxy S9, although the overall performance does not reach the Bionic A11 chip of the iPhone X.

The Galaxy Note 8 comes with 6GB of RAM, but other phones like the OnePlus 6 come with up to 8GB, so it'll be interesting to see if Samsung offers this option.

We hope for an improvement in warehousing. And a new leak points to the Galaxy Note 9, which gets just that; The high-end model could have up to 512 GB of storage space.

As with the Galaxy Note 8, a large screen with an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9 is waiting for you. However, it is not yet known exactly how big this screen will be, although the first rumors on the SamMobile page are pointing to one 6.4-inch screen. This 6.4-inch screen size is supported by a report from the Korea Bell.

The battery, which still plays an important role in Samsung Note phones, will be a 4000 mAh power supply, according to IceUniverse's Twitter filter. This is a leap from the Galaxy Note 8's 3,300mAh battery. This larger battery could force Samsung to change the Note 9 design somewhat, Sammoible adds, and the company also chooses horizontally-oriented cameras for other modest changes.

Bloomberg's report on the release date of Note 9 shows that Samsung will focus on improving the camera this year. It looks like Note 9 could take on some of the camera enhancements introduced earlier this year with the Galaxy S9, including a variable aperture for better shooting in low light and multi-frame noise reduction environments.

A renovated Bixby

According to a report by the Korea Herald in an interview, the director of the Samsung IA Research Center, Gray G. Lee, said that the Galaxy Note 9 would be accompanied by a new generation of artificial intelligence from the company. He said the features will be included in Bixby 2.0, which will debut on the Galaxy Note 9.

"Samsung's AI Vision has five directions: user-centered, always learning, always there, always useful and always safe," Lee said in an interview, according to Slashgear.

The latest leak from OnLeaks suggests that Note 8 could have a square design with two horizontally aligned cameras on the back. The fingerprint sensor would be below this range.

However, not everyone expects the design to change that way. Leaker Ice Universe tweeted at the end of March that the design of the new Phablette was "compatible with the S9". He also said he would use the same cameras as the Galaxy S9 +. According to Ice Universe reports, Samsung was able to record its serious updates to the Galaxy S10 in 2019.

The latest filtered design, also by Ice Universe, shows a windshield that looks very similar to the Galaxy Note 8. However, the chamfers appear thinner on the new phone, so BGR. This would allow a slight increase in screen size without making Note 9 greater than Grade 8. Samsung has done a similar trick with the Galaxy S9, while reducing the slanted surfaces of the S8, the size of the screen will remain the same; who made a more compact phone.

Galaxy Note 9 price?

It's too early to say how Samsung will give the Galaxy Note 9 a prize, but if the story is a guide, it will be in the same range from $ 930 to $ 960 as the current Note 8.

The Galaxy S9 has a starting price of $ 720 and the S9 + of $ 840, so it's reasonable to expect that Note 9 will balance out a similar premium of $ 100 compared to the larger S9 +.
