If you use Google Assistant, your chances of getting your attention are pretty limited: "Ok Google" or "Hello". But soon you can call it whatever you want.
9to5Google searched for the latest Google app and found evidence that you can adjust the signal, called the active word, to get the wizard's attention.
According to the new application, the feature first seems to reach Google's smartphone applications. It's probably a question of when, if not, the same feature will come to Google Home.
And even if you can use a custom attention sensor, it seems that the original signals will continue to work with you when you get into old habits.
Alexa from Amazon already has several names: Alexa, Echo, and Computer. But you can not program your own name. Apple's Siri and Microsoft's Cortana do not have dual options.
Google is working hard to track Amazon Alexa both in terms of features and in public, and new features like these might interest more people in the wizard.
