Alexa now runs on the Apple Watch, thanks to a new app called Voice in a Can app

A new app called Voice in Can is now available for 2 euros and brings Alexa directly to your wrist. However, the app can not do everything Alexa can normally do on her echo device

As reported by The Verge, Voice in a Can does not require your phone to work as it connects via Wi-Fi or LTE. All you have to do is enter the information into your Amazon account.

The application is in the clock as a complication, which makes it easy to start directly from the home screen of Apple Watch. For example, Voice in a Can can escape Apple's limitations by banning other voice users on Apple Watch. Once you've set it up, you can activate Alexa by tapping an icon.

For example, with Voice in a Can, you can control smart home devices and ask questions. However, as the developer of this third-party application admits, its functionality is somewhat limited. It can not transmit music, nor can Voice in a Can support podcasts, audiobooks, and some informative flash sessions.

Since this application works and is in direct competition with Siri, you should ask yourself if Apple still allows it to exist on the App Store. And if Apple keeps its voice in a tin, will it allow third-party applications that allow it to call the Google Assistant?

That should be interesting to see.
This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.
