Google Lens Rolls Out to All Android Phones

All Android phones now enjoy one of the most useful features of Pixel 2: Google Lens.

The Embedded Items embedded feature in the Google Assistant was previously only available for Google Pixel phones. However, it is now implemented on all Android devices running the latest version of Google Photos. If you still do not see a photo update, do not worry, it will happen. According to The Verge, Google also brings Lens to iOS devices, although the calendar of this version is still unknown.
Google Lens lets you turn pictures into action. A photo of a business card can become a contact in your address book, a photo of a book can generate ratings, and a photo of a link can be converted into direct access to the web address without being prompted to enter it in your browser

Open Google Photos and tap the Lens icon to play Lens. The options displayed depend on information that Google received from your photo.
Google is expanding Lens' audience just as much as Samsung Bixby on its Galaxy S9 and S9 + devices. Bixby Vision includes new features in the S9, including a commercial make-up application filter, image-based image translation and calorie estimates for food photos. Bixby is not available on other Android devices.

We're fans of Google Lens in Pixel 2, but we did not test it with Bixby Vision or tested it on a device other than Pixel. Stay tuned for these comparisons.
