How to Turn Off iPhone Throttling in iOS 11.3

The Apple Beta for iOS 11.3 has added the ability to disable a feature that speeds up the performance of your iPhone every time you experience battery problems.

One of the biggest stories about Apple in recent months has been the acceleration of the iPhone. The software feature is designed to give more stability to older iPhones that shut down at seemingly random times. Apple has included the accelerator feature for older phones in an offer to ensure the user experience.

However, Apple was under fire for the feature after performance issues. To spare the battery, Apple had to accelerate the processor of the iPhone, resulting in a performance of the inferior application. As expected, those who applied to the feature sued Apple for reducing the cost of replacing an iPhone battery from $ 79 to $ 29.

In its latest release, iOS 11.3 Beta, Apple took it one step further and now offers the ability to disable the accelerator feature. Of course, Apple recommends that you do not disable it, but if you really want to do it, here's how to do it:

1. Go to the Setup application on your iPhone.

2. Scroll to Battery. Touch to enter the battery configuration.

3. Here's a new option for "battery status". Touch it.

4. The condition of the battery tells you everything about battery performance and how things are going. If all goes well, Apple shows that the "maximum capacity" of your battery is always 100%. Below that, you'll also see an option called "Maximum Performance Capacity," which says "your battery currently supports normal maximum performance."

However, if the battery gets bad, this panel shows something completely different. The maximum capacity percentage is less than 100% and the "Maximum Performance Capacity" indicates that your phone has "shut down unexpectedly". He will also recommend getting a new battery.

But even here you can disable the throttling. At the end of the message in Peak Performance Capability, you will see an option that says "Disable ...".

Once you click Disable, iPhone acceleration will be disabled and you will not be able to activate it. However, if you notice a reboot due to battery power, the unit will automatically turn back on. You must continue with the above steps to disable the acceleration until you get a new battery.
