Apple releases the macOS 10.13.4 update

Apple has released macOS 10.13.4 after months of beta testing and provides support for external GPUs, messaging support for business chat, security patches, and stability enhancements.



macOS 10.13.4 is the first version of macOS to officially provide support for external GPUs. This allows current Macs to use powerful graphics cards in Thunderbolt 3 cabinets.

Apple notes that the update "macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 improves the stability, performance and security of your Mac, and is recommended for all users." The software can be downloaded directly from the Mac App Store.

The update contains the background image "Ink Cloud", which was previously only included in iMac Pro.
